Band Bio

Born from the musical roots of cousins Eric Bowles (guitar) and Burke Madding (drums), Maverick Drive is a band that embodies the soul of their upbringing.  Raised in a house where music was always in the air, Maverick Drive's journey began on Maverick Drive itself in Eagle Pass, Texas.  With a shared history of playing in various musical projects, they decided to forge their own path.  This journey led to the creation of Maverick Drive, a unique musical fusion experience.  The only thing missing was that secret sauce that would make this a complete band.

Maverick Drive blends elements of Blues, Soul, Funk, Latin, Jazz and Pop to offer a mesmerizing show that guarantees to get audiences dancing and clapping along.  Playing songs from the 70's all the way to modern hits, Maverick Drive aims to get the audience moving and grooving enjoying hits from every era.

Influenced by the iconic sounds of Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Kahn, Luther Vandross, Arc Angels, Prince, Bill Withers, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Maverick Drive has developed a unique and eclectic musical style that transcends boundaries. Their ability to effortlessly switch between genres while maintaining their signature sound sets them apart from other musicians.
